The event “Ancient food, history and heritage, from past to future”, origanized by the Department of Letters of the University of Perugia in Madaba Institute for Mosaic Art and Restoration, took place on June 9th.
During the event, the “Discovering Madaba, a sustainable tourism project” – financed by AICS – and its main results were presented. Than the guests had the chance to taste recips from the past and ancient dishes prepared by the italian association Archeofood, and the Chef Marino Marini. The main objective is to enhancing intangibile cultural heritage, expressed by food tradition.
